Bullshit

I'd like to start a thread concerning the poisoned existentialism our society refers to as post-modernism. It seems to me that for the first time in history, the more convoluted your thinking, the more brilliant you become. At least that's the case in post-modernism. Can someone either help me clarify this soul-less bullshit or recommend an alternative to our directionless generation?
